We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor to join our Ayr-based processing facility. This is a key role within our operation and an opportunity to build long-term capability.

About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead and coordinate daily production activities across sorting, grading, processing, freezing, packing, and dispatch operations. You will be responsible for ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently achieved.
This role is ideal for someone looking to step into a leadership position now and grow into a more senior operational role over time.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise production teams across all processing lines
Manage labour, workflow, and shift performance to meet production targets
Ensure compliance with WHS, food safety, and quality standards (HACCP)
Support audits and maintain accurate production and safety records
Train, mentor, and develop team members
Coordinate with maintenance and logistics to ensure smooth operations
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
A strong work ethic and ability to take ownership
A practical, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Proven leadership experience in a production, manufacturing, or food environment
The ability to communicate effectively and lead teams under pressure
A structured, systems-driven approach to work
HACCP practitioner certification (or strong working knowledge) is highly desirable
Experience with systems such as SQF, Freshcare, HARPS or similar is advantageous
Willingness to complete HACCP certification (supported by the business if required)
Mechanical, electrical or refrigeration knowledge (or willingness to learn)
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office and production systems)
Forklift Licence
HR Truck Licence (desirable)
Ability to obtain a Boiler Attendant Licence over time
