An opportunity is now available for an experienced, reliable, and motivated Store Person to join our team supporting our warehouse operations based at the Melbourne Market, Epping. 

Job Description

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Operate forklift safely and efficiently to load, unload, move and stack fresh produce. 
  • Conduct pre-start forklift checks and report faults or maintenance requirements. 
  • Order fulfillment - picking orders and packing product in accordance with appropriate procedures.
  • Assist with inbound and outbound activities where required.
  • Assist with stock movements and inventory management.
  • Assist with the completion of dispatch and receival documentation.

Desired Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Current LF Forklift Licence essential.
  • Previous experience in an FMCG warehouse environment, or fresh produce environment (highly regarded). 
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, hands-on role. 
  • A good understanding of receivals and dispatch processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • Capacity to work required rostered hours: Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm
