Job Description

Key Responsibilities

The HR Administrator will provide administrative and operational support across all areas of HR and WHS, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and a positive employee experience.

Through strong attention to detail and responsive internal customer service, the HR Administrator supports the broader HR team in key responsibilities including but not limited to:  

  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date employee records across HR systems and personnel files.
  • Coordinate end to end recruitment administration including job advertising, phone screening, interview scheduling, reference checking and offer documentation.
  • Support workforce planning activities through data preparation, reporting, and documentation. 
  • Prepare and issue standard HR documentation using approved templates and processes
  • Provide administrative support to national support office functions including Payroll and Group CEO Executive Assistant when required.
  • Coordinate training, inductions, and compliance requirements
  • Manage the HSW inbox, documentation, and monthly reporting requirements
  • Respond to employee HR queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide administrative support in performance management and employee relations matters.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation and company policies

Desired Skills and Experience

We believe the successful candidate will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in business administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline is highly regarded
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Experience in a HR Administration or support role
  • Experience working with HRIS management systems
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Confident in liaising with stakeholders at all levels
  • Resilient, adaptable, and flexible in dynamic environments
  • Detail-oriented with excellent administrative skills
  • Skilled in multitasking and prioritising in fast-paced settings
  • Professional in handling sensitive and confidential matters
