Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing

  1. Achieve sales, volume, and margin targets while driving profitability across key accounts and market channels
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and growers, enhancing brand presence in the market
  3. Manage grower partnerships, including pricing, returns, and clear communication on market trends and quality
  4. Oversee stock control processes, including inventory accuracy, rotation, reconciliation, and discrepancy management
  5. Monitor and report on performance, delivering accurate forecasts, sales insights, and timely use of internal systems
  6. Ensure compliance with WHS and Chain of Responsibility requirements, promoting safe work practices and equipment use

Desired Skills and Experience

What You Bring

  1. 5+ years’ experience of sales and procurement in the produce industry
  2. Experience with managing grower and customer relations, pricing, forecasting, and stock systems (e.g. Ironbark)
  3. Current forklift licence and drivers licence (essential)
  4. Ability to work early hours (from 4:00am) in line with market operations
  5. WHS and First Aid certifications (desirable)
